My friend and I wanted to try something new and we came across Endzone. Now let me say, the people were friendly, but the service was not up to par. When we first walked in, we were greeted and given menus and sat at a table. We looked over the menu for few minutes and had multiple questions while reading it. No one came back to our table so we had to walk up to the bar. The menu was not descriptive at all. The wings had no flavor choices, the beverages were just labeled as “sodas” with no description of what the sodas actually were, so I had to continuously ask questions about what they actually served because nothing had a description. When I asked about the sampler, no one really knew what it was. It was like everyone that worked there was a bit clueless about the menu overall. When it came to getting alcoholic beverages that was a bit of a fail as well… The bartender was nice enough to give me her spin on an amaretto sour and it was pretty good, but more mixers than liquor(no, it was not free). Then when I wanted to order a specialty shot and asked about the description of each one, the bartender was clueless as to what went in the shots that was on their menu, so I settled for the Jolly Rancher shot (it was on their $5 shot menu) and she googled how to make it and I’m guessing they were missing an ingredient. It tasted like pure orange peeling and I did not enjoy it. It was literally aristocrat and triple sec in a shot cup🤦🏽♀️. I was charged $7 for what was supposed to be a $5 shot, but I let it slide.
Now for the food…. The cook was really nice, but for it to be a slow night with about 5 customers total in the building, the food took quite awhile to come out. The flavor of the wings were good, but they were EXTREMELY tiny and the fries were a bit over seasoned. They forgot the bread I asked for, but the cook immediately accommodated me and brought it back out, which I appreciate. The music selection was bomb, however it kept cutting off and ads kept playing in between every song. I’m not used to that at a lounge and it was a bit hard to catch a vibe. Overall, I will give this establishment a 2/5. Hopefully things will get better, and I may try them again in the future.
