Oh where do I start.First off the inside of this place is DISGUSTING!I came here for lunch and my experience was honestly inexcusable.As soon as you walk in you get the aroma of a wet dog just to see the owners dog freely walking around the small area where food and drinks are prepared. I used the bathroom and it smelt like urine and trash was overflowing. I decided to dine outside and order a beer and a fried chicken salad just for my order to be wrong. Still optimistic about this place I sent it back to the kitchen to get my CORRECT order!What comes back is small flavorless and COLD?How do you mess up on fried chicken salad?I told them that I would pay for the chicken salad but I don’t trust eating it so tried the classic fish and chips next.What happened next is mind boggling. The owner comes out and tells me he’s not making me any more food and to pay for beer and leave? EXCUSE ME? I’ve been in the hospitality industry for over 10 years and have never been treated like this!!!! After politely telling him that’s okay I’ll pay for my check and spend money else where he proceeds to harass me and tell me if I don’t get out of his bar that he will call the police!Mark if you see this I hope you learn some manners when dealing with the general public. I will be reporting this to the health department as well because if that’s what your front of the house looked and smelled like then I can only imagine the back of the house.*edit*In response to the owner. Is this the way you talk to the people who literally put money in your pocket? 14 dollars is nothing compared to what I would pay in downtown Nashville and honestly wanted the server to get her fair share of a tip. After ordering FRIED CHICKEN You gave me GRILLED then proceeded to try and give old cold chicken tenders instead! I didn’t want food poisoning so I POLITELY declined and ordered something else which you have said in your statement that you didn’t think I was WORTH correcting YOUR error. Bad business all the way around and from the looks of all of your 1 star reviews I’m not the only one who feels this way about the food or the DISGUSTING DIRTY STICK ATMOSPHERE YOU CALL A BAR! Also give your dog a bath I could smell him from outside! Get a speech therapist as well couldn’t even understand your attempt to kick me out with all of your stuttering 🤮

"Upon entering the bar side the bartender/server was very pleasant. There were only 2 other customers in the bar side at the time. We arrived at about 1:15 (I know this because my husband took a picture of his beer and texted it to a friend). She got our drinks pretty quickly and both were good. I know she had some outside tables because the weather was great. After about 10 mins. she came back to get our food order. We had a very simple order (2 burgers). 3 gentlemen came in and sat at the bar. After some time had passed we became concerned because we still had to pick up our son from school and needed to leave by 2:35. We noticed one of the guys that came in after us was now eating his food. It was 2:17 and our food still wasn''t out. We were then told they didn''t have the side order available. That was just an excuse for the negligence of not getting our order in. My husband asked if we could just get the burgers and to go boxes for the fries/tots. We waisted over an hour at the restaurant and she didn''t apologize until she brought the check over. She stated that there was only 1 cook. If we knew it would take over an hour to cook 2 burgers we would have gone elsewhere. Because of this we had to scarf down as much as possible just to make it out by 2:35. That did not make for a pleasant customer experience. Then the jalape o burger that I ordered was missing the jalape o jelly that comes on it. I really didn''t enjoy the food due to having to eat it so fast. We''ve been before and enjoyed the burgers but we won''t be back."On another review site this is how the owner or manager responded to me, taking no responsibility and absolutely no apologies. Great managerial skills! BTW, I did mention their were tables outside. After the response I got, I can see why the cook quit. Customer service starts with the management. As a business owner I welcome criticism without becoming defensive like this bitter person.Response from Bunganut Pig:"AK, I usually try to take an apologetic tone in my responses. you mentioned that there were only two other customers @ the bar, making it seem like it was slow. What you didn't mention is that the patio was packed, and there were a few tables in the billiards room. Not as slow as made it out to be. Yes ticket times should have been a little better, but unfortunately one of my cooks quit either that morning or the morning before. Givin the number of orders in @ the time you arrived and only having one cook, I am very pleased with her performance. Most people have patience and understanding. You should try it!! BTW the Jalapeno Burger comes with Jalapeno Ranch not Jalapeno Jelly,"Oooh, I said jelly instead of ranch. You really showed me on that one. Still, 2 hamburgers should NEVER take over an hour yet you make excuses for everything that happened. Do better at scheduling and managing employees and maybe they would stick around. No one should be overworked so you're still in the wrong. You obviously don't respect them or they would have respected you enough to give sufficient notice. And you definitely don't have an ounce of respect for your customers.The only good things were the cocktail and the dog.

So let me say the food was great!Nice atmosphere and location.This was the second time here as the weather was nice and we wanted to sit and relax on the patio.Arrived at noon and took out seat on the patio.The waitress came to our table with her hands in her pockets and as I was reading the menu, Our two year old Boston terrier had jumped up to say hello and she was talking back by him, and I then grabbed his leash and had him sit.Normally everyone that meets Felix will give him a rub and say hello.It was apparent that our waitress did not like dogs.If anyone knows about Bostons, they just want to say hello and give you kisses.After the encounter, our waitress was not wanting to be around us.We received our food with no silverware.My wife had to go inside and get us utensils.Much later I asked for another drink and she brought me a coke? That’s not what I was drinking.I asked to talk to the manager, and he came by but did not stop at our table.When I mentioned to him as he walked by that our service was sub par, he mentioned that was my opinion and kept walking.That did not sit well and as an acting manager, you need to put the customer first, as with that comment, you just lost a customer. As an owner that reads this, you need to have a talk with him.After finishing my meal, I walked up to the manager as he was sitting on the deck playing on his phone, I stated I was unhappy with service and he commented that my dog bit the waitress.Long story short, Felix had never bitten anyone. Lick you to death yes. I explained I wouldn’t bring a dog anywhere that would have a tendency to bit and apologize for any inconvenience.I asked to see the wound and the waitress said there was no mark but knows the difference between a bite and a scratch.I think the manager should have stopped and talked to us vs walking by and making the statement that it’s my opinion. To be honest, I think he had been drinking has he did stumble as he walked by and smelled bad!If you are going to run a business that serves the public, then step up and do your job. As a customer, we pay good money for good service.Yes I left a good tip as this would be expected, but don’t treat you paying customers with disrespect!
