Stuff like shells or spaghetti with sauce, and you can get meatball(s) or sausage(s) with it; beans and greens; lentil soup; peas and macaroni; chicken soup; lasagna; pasta fagiole; etc. Basic simple old fashioned Italian food, served unpretentiously, in unfancy surroundings. Very satisfying to me, but probably not everyone's thing.
