I used to eat work meals here frequently over a year ago and was excited to take my spouse for his first visit. I was quite surprised that not only did my favorite meal's base meal price increase by several dollars, but also how I had to add items (e.g. one egg for $2.99 or noodles for $1.99) when they used to be included at no extra charge. I am quite sympathetic to the current egg price issues, but that's quite a mark up. The meals had good flavor, though it just wasn't the same without the extra ingredients that used to be included.
Additionally, they will bring your food to you, but beyond that there is no one checking to see how it is or see if you'd like a refill (the soda machine is in the kitchen). My husband wanted to salt his fries but there were no salt and pepper shakers at the table; he had to get up and go find them as there were only two sets in the store. We were the only guests at the time we were there; this wasn't a busy time.
Signs advise you to bus your own tables; I'm happy to clean up after myself, but there is just one station to place used dishes where you can throw away garbage, stack your dishes, and put your glasses in the cup sorting rack for the dishwasher. The total cost of two meals and one soda was about $45. I was hopeful it would be the same great experience I had remembered from before, but this time I felt the food was overpriced and the service was lacking.
