Walter and his brother (whose name I, unfortunately, forgot) made our visit unforgettable. They were incredibly humble, completely devoted to serving their customers, and even let me practice my Spanish with them. It was a joy to learn about their background—these two kind-hearted brothers are from Guatemala, and they radiate warmth and hospitality. The portions were generous, the prices more than fair, and the food was absolutely mouth-watering! It was exactly what we needed after a Rhode Island metal show late at night. To top it off, Walter and his brother even served the star band members from Ravager (ravager508 on Instagram) while we were there! What impressed me most was their humility. They were sweet, open to conversation, and truly endearing. I was delighted to chat with them and hear a bit about their lives. The food itself was perfect—flavorful and satisfying, with just the right mix of flavor, carbs, protein, and veggies. As a Catholic, one of the most touching moments was seeing an image of the Virgin Mary above the cashier. I asked Walter about it, and he shared that it was indeed his. This reminded me of Pope Francis’s words: “Where the Madonna is at home, the devil does not enter; where there is the Mother, disturbance does not prevail—fear does not win.” I believe Walter and his brother bring a blessing to this place and their food, and I felt nourished and uplifted on the ride back home. The seating is comfortable, the lighting is bright, and the vibe is casual and welcoming. If you’re looking for delicious, hearty Asian fast food with a soul (and this is coming from me, an Asian Catholic!), this is the place to go!
