Have golfed here frequently over the years. 27 holes which is great, small greens that can be tricky at times. Some fun holes that are unique to the course. The turn can get messy sometimes but the guys are nice and easy to work with. Staff especially at the half way house have always been kind and friendly. My only complaint and I wouldn't if it wasn't every, single, time, I've ever been there is the bald gentleman in the pro shop with glasses is miserable and rude EVERY single time, I've ever been there. I've never made mention of a single person at a golf course in my life and he has ALWAYS been confrontational and just plain unpleasant. I have buddies and family members that, when I made mention of the most recent incident, knew exactly who I was talking about and said they've had the exact same experience. Not sure what the issue is. Life is short, be happy.
*Had tee time Sunday morning. We had a fifth ask if they could join. I see 5's there frequently so didn't think it would be an issue but just to make sure, we called Friday night and asked permission as we didn't want to assume it would be okay. They said it would be no problem. I had our fifth call back Saturday night, just to be sure as we felt bad and they said absolutely no problem and to mention that Nick or Jimmy said it was fine. I check in Sunday morning and say I'm paying for two. The younger guy behind the counter started cashing me out and the bald guy tells him to run it as two separate transactions. Didn't think much of it. Finish cashing out then, unprompted goes "you're going out as a 2 and a 3". I said "oh we called and we were told we could go as a 5?". He goes "not a chance I've got 300 golfers out there, not happening". I reiterated that we called both Friday and Saturday night and got permission and we even saw 5s already on the course. He doubled down and told me not happening and we can't slow things down. I then asked how sending a 2 and a 3 out in between 4s would speed things up and told him we got permission from Nick and Jimmy. He said, well starter isn't going to allow it. No joke, we went as a 5 and finished in under 4 hours. Again, everyone there has always been so great, except this guy.
