Arrived at opening (8am, on a Thursday). Was greeted promptly by the hostess. My server throughout the whole visit was very spotty and checked in on me rarely. It did get busy quickly but that doesn't leave much room for an excuse such as neglecting certain customers. I ordered a passion fruit iced tea which was good, nothing special ($4 but free refills). I ordered the traditional ham egg Benedict. The first time (yes, first, of two) it took very long, 20 plus minutes for a dish that was put in when it was still slow. The egg was fully cooked, for both of the Benedicts. Like I mentioned, my server was very spotty so I had to bring my plate to the hostess who took it to the kitchen. About 5 minutes later my server came over to apologize. She brings out the second attempt about 5 minutes after, so a LOT faster than the first time (which raised reasonable suspicion), and this time the egg was sloppily poached, being snot-quality (as in what you see when you blow your nose) with grossly soggy muffins (because of the undercooked egg). I tried eating at first but after two bites I simply waited this time for my server to come by. Which was probably 20 minutes. Once she finally remembered me again I gave it back to her and she didn't even offer any other reconciliation.
I brought my laptop to do schoolwork so I was occupied with this during my server's extended absence. I stayed for about 40 minutes more until she came back around to say she took care of my bill (how generous; $4, because the entree was the restaurant's error as a whole).
Overall very UNimpressed. Especially after being invited back after my initial bad experience 4 years ago. I left a glowing review on their Yelp which I must now replace with this new experience.
