Our recent visit to Taz left us with mixed feelings. While the food was satisfactory, the slow service dampened our overall experience. The dishes were decently prepared, offering a taste of both Indian and Nepali cuisine, which was a unique aspect of the restaurant. However, the sluggish pace of service was disappointing, especially considering that we were travelers seeking a quick meal en route home.
Despite the sluggish service, the pricing was fair, aligning with our expectations for a casual dining experience. We understand that this may not be a frequent stop for us, given its location along the travel route. However, for locals in the area, it seems to be the only option offering Nepali dishes alongside Indian cuisine. This lack of competition could explain the complacency in service.
Taz offers a decent dining option with its variety of Indian and Nepali dishes, but its slow service may deter those seeking a quick bite. Nonetheless, for locals with limited dining choices, it remains a viable option.
