Read Moreupdate 12 june 2024came here for lunch today! they just rolled out their summer menu, and it certainly doesn't disappoint. the thai melon salad, carne asada, and grilled ahi tuna are all green in my book. the flavours were interesting and worked nicely together to create an enjoyable meal. we did end up waiting a bit for our food (~45 min) but it was quite busy too. i would recommend making a reservation if possible. again, the volunteers were lovely and attentive.---really amazing place. i like the idea of this restaurant and the impact it has on the community. however, i was skeptical about the food, but i'm glad i tried it-- it was amazing.the volunteers are so friendly, service is quick, and the quality of the food is phenomenal. the menu is unique and i couldn't choose because everything sounded so good. in the end, i ordered the ricotta citrus toast and i highly recommend it. perfect level of sweetness, and i've never had anything like it before. the ricotta was so delicious. we also ordered the salmon egg benedict, and i really liked that as well. overall, amazing food and portion sizes.this is stuff i would expect to pay $25-30/dish, and it was a lot better than some rather expensive restaurants imo. definitely recommend visiting this place, donating what you can, and logging your visit. great place with great food and a great cause
