So, I was pleasantly surprised, and relieved, when I ordered from Tacos Super Tonaya. I perused the menu, and ordered...tacos! 4 chicken and 4 carne asada, with everything. At $1.25, these are some of the cheaper ones in town, but that's the everyday price...it can only be beat by 1 other place (but I still have many more to go). When I looked at them, I was skeptical, because if you smother your product in sauce it usually means dry, unseasoned meat. NOT here, though. The meats were incredibly juicy, cut into the right size for the shells, and seasoned perfectly, and the sauce only enhanced the flavor. Add in the fact that they were topped with the right amount of onion/cilantro, AND a jalapeño (I don't like radishes) made for a perfect Taco. This is an establishment that I will return to for other menu items. It wasn't too busy when I arrived (11:50 am), but soon after it had a line 6 people deep, and more arriving as I left. THAT speaks for the truck as well. Get there early, enjoy your food, and show love to this Truck... they've earned it with the quality of their food.
