I have frequented this location for about 20 years. This past experience at the drive-thru was not only the best experience I have ever had there (regarding employees), it was one of the best and most memorable I have had at ANY drive-thru, including banks and other fast food establishments. The guy that was taking orders was polite, pleasant and respectful. He actually apologized for not having an item that I ordered. He sounded sincere when he apologized. I asked if he had any boxed meal deal that was comparable, and he made a suggestion quickly. I don't recall his name, but would recognize it if it was mentioned.
My experience prior to this visit, which was about a year ago was the exact opposite. It was THE WORST experience I ever had at any drive-thru. It was two girls at the window. They taunted me, shouted derogatory names at me, laughed at me, made vulgar gestures to me, and arrogantly encouraged me to "call corporate". The rudeness of these two Taco Bell/KFC employees was so daring and over-the-top that I could hardly believe it was happening. Their cowardly advantage of being inside with a window separating us went to their head. I should have reported them but didn't. I feel good enough mentioning those two girls in this review and what they did, hoping "corporate" does see a difference in my last two customer experiences. The employees that have first-hand contact with customers does make a big difference. The reputation and success of a company depend mostly on those individuals.
