Always good food. Staff is friendly. This Sunday they also had a plate lunch buffet to choose from. Haven't had that before. Check it out for good home cooked food.

A great breakfast and I’d love to come back for the catfish courtbouillon. And right by our excellent Homewood Suites. Mellow Joy is a historically significant coffee brand recently brought back. And thanks to our wonderful waitress who just enhanced the experience.

We travel from Texas to visit my family there . One of the best friendly and delish places to eat. We usually go twice a day when visiting . We love the owner and all the friendly servers there .

The smothered rabbit (Monday plate special) was absolutely amazing - an awesome Cajun classic brilliantly executed - and the warm and unpretentious setting and service remind me of why Lafayette is a magical place. What’s not to love?

Whenever we are in Lafyette, this is a "must do" for breakfast. The sausage, grits and biscuits are amazing and it always reminds me of home. Ask for the cane syrup too...and that Mello coffee is the bowtie on any visit here.
