I love Subway, but the customer service on Wed 8/17/22 around 3pm at the East Walmart Subway was pretty sad. I was the 2nd customer in the store at the time and the employee was the only one I saw. I started with "hi, how are you?" His flat response "tired". I laughed slightly and said "I'm sorry". Him: no response, no nothing. He made my sandwich reasonably enough. They didn't have pickles (may fave!) And he said "I don't think I have any prepped". I literally did "aww man bummer those are my fave, really?" It took a bit of guilt from me for him to actually go check and confirm no pickles. We wrapped up, I paid, and I said "thank you" with a smile. Got a flat you're welcome amd nothing more. I felt like such a burden to this dude for walking into the sandwich store, TO ORDER A SANDWICH!! I don't blame him if he was having a bad day truly but don't make your customer feel like you're annoyed with them simply for being a customer. What is up with our world and customer service nowadays!?
