Dear Starbucks Management,
I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the service I received at your Hopewell on 11/08/2024 7:54 AM ET. I have always enjoyed Starbucks, but this recent experience has left me extremely dissatisfied with the level of customer service and professionalism at this location.
When I arrived to pick up my online order, I noticed that one part of my order had been fulfilled, but my drink was missing. I approached the barista at the counter to inquire about my missing drink and kindly explained the situation. Instead of offering any assistance or explanation, the barista was dismissive and simply stated, "We're behind." No further information was provided, nor did he make any effort to resolve the issue.
What made matters worse was that while I was waiting for my drink, I observed six customers who had ordered in person being served and leaving the store with their drinks. It was incredibly frustrating to see them being prioritized while I was left waiting with no update or explanation.
Feeling that my online order would take longer than necessary, I decided to place a new order in person, hoping it would be processed more quickly. To my dismay, when I went to the counter to place the new order, I encountered the same barista. He quickly refunded my previous order without allowing me to express my frustration or discuss the situation. He showed no interest in hearing me out or offering any assistance. I tried to mention how the service felt slow and dismissive, but he was short with me and didn’t engage in any conversation.
Once again, I was left without a drink, frustrated and upset, with no resolution to my concerns. The way I was treated was completely unacceptable, and I left the store feeling extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the entire experience.
As a loyal Starbucks customer, I expect better service and respect from your staff. It is not acceptable for any customer to be treated in such a dismissive manner, especially when they are experiencing issues with their order. I hope you will address this situation with the barista involved and ensure that future customers do not have to endure the same poor treatment.
