Was there tonight and one of the bartenders, one specifically who was wearing a hat that was super low, where you couldn’t even see her eyes, brought me my tab of $221. She came around with a round of shots for our group of 8, and she asked who’s tab the shots would go on, as we have 8 players on the team and everyone had a tab open, and I told her to go ahead and put that round on my tab. She tried then saying at the end that I told her to put someone else’s whole tab for the whole night, and add it to my tab which was not the case at all. She charged a teammate of mine, for his tab, and then later on charged me for my teammates full tab again, on top of me real tab. I comforted her on this and she got extremely defensive, and trying saying that she wasn’t the one drinking all night and that I was the one drinking, basically trying to say that because I drank, that I didn’t know what was going on with my own tab. After walking out, a teammate of mine mentioned that the last time we played there that the same girl had done the same thing to him. She added numerous random drinks and shots that he never asked for, For his tab, and was stuck with a bill much larger then we ever have at any other bar. The difference was he stayed quiet about it and simply sucked it up. We have all decided as a team, that the next time we play at your bar, we will spend all night and not have single drink at all! Mind you, every bar we go to, all bartenders say that we are their favorite pool team, because we the ones who order the most, and more importantly tip the best. We have played and many bars between Lowell pool league, as well as Lawrence and Methuen, and we have never seen such an obvious attempt to get screwed by a bartender. It’s a disgrace!!!
