We had one of the best dining experiences in a long time at Southern Eaze. I took pictures when I first arrived around 4:00 in the afternoon and really loved this place. It gets packed so get there early especially on trivia night . The four of us each tried something different — I had the ribs (smoked to perfection, fall-off-the-bone, steaming hot when they came out of the smoker), my wife ordered the sliders (terrific flavor and presentation), and our friends had the brisket and the hamburger. Every single plate was absolutely off the charts good.
We sat at the bar, and our server Morgan was outstanding — prompt, attentive, and a perfect example of what Southern hospitality is all about. The restaurant itself is spotless, including the restrooms, and has a great energy. I really liked the jukebox where you can pick your own music, and it’s fun that they host live music, bingo, and trivia nights.
Southern Eaze is owned by a third-generation Floridian, and you can tell: the whole place feels rooted in local tradition. The décor is a throwback to the 1940s and 1950s in Florida, the outdoor patio is sensational for watching football games, and the overall atmosphere makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in.
We’ve eaten at some great local spots like Linger Longer, but I have to say the service here was even better. Southern Eaze is a can’t-miss destination — fantastic food, terrific people, and a warm community vibe. Highly recommended!
