Sonic Drive-In in Pinellas Park

I ordered a certain burger they charge more for with no onions. They put onions on it. The sandwich comes with bacon on it as well. I go back for my replacement and the sandwich I get replaced then has no onion or bacon. Always mess my order up and then mess it up again 😩 UPDATE: They messed up the remake by not putting bacon on a CHEESY BACON SONIC STACK! Then offered replacement again so I go back for the replacement and they burn up the replacement chili cheese dog to the point it is blackened! Worst location ever save your time and I mean 15 or more minutes to get you're order and money because your order will be made wrong or burned to a crisp. UPDATE: I ordered again on a Sunday around 930am. 2 items and waited more than 20 minutes for a shake and burger. If you don't want to waste your time AND money skip this place as they suck when it comes to SPEED and FRIENDLY SERVICE. Let's not even get started on prices as well because this will be a long review. Last time I order from these lames and I suggest you just go to somewhere else or buy from the grocery store whatever you want. At least then you will know that your order was made by yourself and not a 15 year old kid or a bummy ahole who has no respect for the customer. My first encounter with Sonic Drive-In, a quick lunch stop on our way home, proved surprisingly engaging. Taking the wheel made the drive-in experience feel entirely new. While the traditional menu board felt overwhelming, the mobile app offered a much smoother way to navigate and order. I was a little disappointed to miss out on the roller-skating servers I'd heard about, but during the quiet lunch hour, I understood the practicality. The real standout of my visit was the exceptional service from one staff member, who I suspect might be a manager. Her attentiveness and genuine warmth reminded me of the friendly atmosphere you find in a great local diner. Honestly, her service alone made the stop worthwhile. While I gather a late-night visit might be more lively, the efficient and friendly service I received during this quieter time definitely left a positive impression. The food itself was really good for it being fast food and while my husband took the opportunity to indulge, I tend to follow a ketogenic diet and low carbohydrate lifestyle, But with the offerings of their menu, it is easily possible to make your own substitutions or even ask for them and still enjoy the menu as it was meant to be wall cutting out unnecessary carbohydrates and sugars. I will say in closing that wall it was a positive experience and I did enjoy the food and the overall price itself was fairly positioned for nearby competition and the actual quality of the food you're getting, in my opinion, if I had the time, I would have driven a little bit further and ordered the same sort of items from Steak & Shake instead. This is just a personal preference and I feel their quality of meat and The taste profile is a little bit higher quality. Otherwise it's a very hard comparison to make because they're almost identical. Whether you're dining solo, with family or friends or looking to have a night out with a big crowd that has as diverse a taste in food as they may in other areas. Sonic Drive-In is a safe bet for the offerings available on their menu in giving anybody options for something they would enjoy weather a small child or elderly adult and everywhere in between. So in closing, I do have to say that I recommend Sonic Drive-In, especially this location in particular for the great service and good food. However, if you are somebody that is following a low carb diet, you can easily make substitutions to allow for that. If I could add any influence to the menu at Sonic whatsoever, I would hope for a salad offering. They don't even have a side option. Severely lacking in menu items such as salads or other fresh preparations beyond the fruit in their sugar laden drinks. Otherwise, there is backup parking available along the perimeter of the property surrounding the restaurant. Kid-friendliness I can easily see this being a kid-friendly environment, however I can also see it quickly flipping into a more teenage/20-Something crowd come nightfall and weekends... But I'm not stating that to be in any sort of negative manner. Because it appears to be Avon social environment. I just feel kids would have a better time during the weekend day. Wheelchair accessibility The entire property is wheelchair accessible. There is an accessible entrance into the actual enclosed part of the restaurant. Otherwise, it's very easy to pull up and remain in your car the entire time to enjoy the experience and eat your meal.

I had the pleasure of experiencing this Sonic location with my boyfriend, Zachary, and we could not have been more satisfied. A beautiful, young hunk skated smoothly to our car with an enticing, grease stained bag, and well… nothing could have prepared us for the intoxicating, mouthwatering spread we found inside. The chicken bites? Juicy. The pretzel? Buttery, salty goodness. The GROOVY FRIES!? Let’s just say we will be paying this Sonic location another visit tomorrow. Thank you for improving our lives and gifting Zachary and I with a new memory to serve as a highlight of our relationship together. This location has always been touch and go but my experiences the last year or so have been good on average. Food takes a bit to come out but staff seems to be doing the best they can, and the food is generally decent. I ordered earlier today and around half the order was wrong. In particular the burgers had onions on them, which the person I ordered for is allergic to. I took them back thinking I got someone else’s order and staff was fairly confrontational, insisting the food was made correctly until I went through each individual item and showed them the receipt. For one item, they just outright did not provide the food at all and said it was because they were out of an ingredient. I wasn’t trying to get extra food, I just wanted it remade, or provided in the first place. They remade a portion of the food but, hopefully unintentionally, added onions to the remade burgers. I had been holding someone else up from getting their order for 5+ minutes at that point so I just left. Really disappointing service. I got two meals made the exact same way, very simple- cheeseburgers ketchup only. I got all the way home and the order was everything but ketchup. I drove back up, hit the button for someone to come to my car, explained it was wrong, he took the food, no apology. 20 minutes later they still did not bring the corrected burgers so I hit the button again. It took a total of 30 minutes to get my food without so much as a sorry for the inconvenience. This place sucks, the food is not good enough for the shitty customer service and the price. Always have long wait times and shakes are always wrong in one way or another. They always forget Graham cracker crumbles on top of their cheesecake shakes or other garnishes are missing. I always have to order and pay for extra just to get a small amount on top and it is only after it is (always) brought out un-garnished. Employees are decently nice for the most part despite being obviously understaffed and stressed out during busy periods. Burgers and coneys usually come out good but the fries are always cold or undercooked even when I ask for them extra crispy. Bathrooms are always clean when I have had to go in there which is nice. Ordered at 312 online for my food to be brought out it said around 318 theyd get out there, waited thirty minutes and got nothing. Went to the drive through, didnt even ask us what our stuff was just asked what was in the order, at this point we were already here for an hour and they still didnt give us all of what we had ordered, waited even longer just to get the rest of it. I had a very frustrating experience at this location. I placed an order in the drive-thru and asked to pay with two gift cards, but my request was denied. I then tried to pay with just one gift card and a credit card, that was also denied. When I asked to cancel my order and pay separately for the items, the cashier acted as if I was an inconvenience and told me I needed to leave the line, go back through the drive-thru, or place the order at a stall. This was especially upsetting to my son, who just wanted his meal. I complied, but I don’t understand why they sell gift cards if they won’t accept split payments. I’ve never had an issue with this at any other location. To make matters worse, the cashier was outright unpleasant and dismissive. I usually go to the Tampa location, and I’ll continue to do so since the service there is far more accommodating and professional. Very disappointed with how this was handled. I always here when I'm in the area, and I'm always hoping that Tiffany is my waitress. She makes sure that you have everything you need before she helps the next person. I recommend this spot for everyone cause the food is awesome and so are the staff.
