Especially in California, there are a lot of places that just *miss* and I'm happy to report that Shrimp Factory is NOT a place that misses, quite the opposite, in fact.
The price for this feast was under $30, and I am in complete disbelief because of the high quality. A lb of shrimp, gumbo with rice, some red potatoes, and some mozzarella cheese sticks? Piping hot, full of flavor - I got spicy for my heat (because, well, anything in California is just not THAT hot), and it was delicious! The shrimp is well-cooked, the potatoes were soft, and I had a great bite of the Gumbo (just WOW). I ended up having to switch my original order of cheesecake and ended up getting the cheese sticks instead, but they were super chill about the difference in price. Great service, and super courteous (but I still want my cheesecake, so next time).
Absolutely recommend these folks for people that are looking for a great seafood and gumbo experience in the area. You will not be disappointed.
