Great experience at a high end restaurant. The ambiance is well suited for an evening dinner out, comfy seating and good lighting. Dress casual, most men had collarded shirts and pants.
Our waiter, Kai was very attentive and the other staff would come by and pick up finished dishes and refill water.
We had a Caesar salad to start, it was one of the best I have had. The dressing was on point so good, crouton crumbles and a mountain of fine parmesan on top. It was a good portion for 3 to share.
For dinner we ordered the fish of the day "poisson pour duex". 22 Oz of two full filets of white fish baked skin some up over an amazing sauce with small potatoes and clams. We ate the skin with the meat, adding a crunchy taste to the fish. No bones , easy to eat.
We ordered also the steak frites, 8 Oz collette. It was perfectly cooked medium rare and very tender. The gravy was perfect to dip the steak and the crisp fries.
Overall, for the price, very impressed with quality, and quantity of food. It is expensive, the fish was $110, steak $38, large salad $18, and we had drinks, $14 Basil Hayden whiskey and a $17 La vie en peche mixed drink. $235 tab for 3, plus tip.
I do want to go back and try a few other dishes, you should give it a try as well.
