Sapo's is situated in a really opportune place and affords those who live off the Manchester area the chance to have a decent, albeit not so traditional meal. I have a few problems, none of which reference the service or the restaurant's cleanliness. For me, this is all about the food.Sapo's salsa is mild, plain and simple. The red salsa has no spice and very little flavor aside from tomato. The salsa verde has a wonderful tang of lime, but thats it. It feels like whoever is making the salsa is afraid of adding a bit of extra spice.I had the enchiladas, my go-to when I visit comparable restaurants like El Vaquero or Acapulcos. Unfortunately, I faced the same problem as I did with the salsa. The chicken was juicy and plentiful, but had no seasoning. Alongside a rather bland sauce, the rice and beans did little to save it. The rice was fluffy and moist, very good! Unfortunately, the refried beans were also underseasoned.Sapo's is a beautiful restaurant with wonderful staff, and while the meal I had wasn't great, nothing tasted *bad*. I left full, but somewhat disappointed. With that being said, I'm comfortable rating Sapo's as among Columbus' average restaurants. I will give it another chance in the future because I know a lot of people who love this restaurant, but for my first experience, I did not enjoy it as much as I'd hoped!
