It had been close to 10 years since I'd been to the log cabin. To start, I think that their bacon got even better. Proportions were more than adequate and exceptionally flavorful. Seeing as this dad covers the meals, I was pleasantly surprised (in a positive...Read More

I stopped going here ages ago because of the long waits for very minimal seating. Little did I know, they have closed the indoor seating and opened up their beautiful patio, equipped with heating lamps. No reservations over the phone but they nicely update you...Read More

We had a lovely breakfast here! The servers were very friendly, the decor was beautiful (and fun!), and the atmosphere welcoming. The raspberry almond pancakes, which they made into a smiley face for the kid, were delicious and 2 was way more than the kid could...Read More

I saw the reviews of this place and thought it might be hype. For the record, I also rarely give 5 stars. This place was truly a surprise. The facade of the restaurant appears dated, but it opens up to a gorgeous backyard patio. Their...Read More

Amazing food, service and location. A wonderful place to get breakfast (6 people max). Make sure to wait out front after you put your name down. I recommend spending the time waiting out front to look over the menu. Hosts and servers are very kind...Read More

Cute brunch restaurant with outdoor seating and a homey atmosphere. Feels like I’m sitting in someone’s backyard! Outdoor only and super dog friendly, with heaters and patio umbrellas as well. Arrived at around 10:50 on a Sunday morning with many people already in line but...Read More

Delicious, organic and seasonal fare. Sam's log cabin will be my new favorite brunch spot. The orange poppy seed pancakes are to die for, the eggs were fresh and fluffy and the apple wood bacon crisp and delicious.

The breakfast here is exceptional!! The corn cakes specifically are the best. Coffee you get unlimited. The vibe/ atmosphere is also super great. Sometimes the staff isn’t so nice, but that really depends on the day. Also you should take to your consideration that the place...Read More

Great breakfast place. Outdoor dining in the back with heaters that really work. Good section of interesting house made ingredients. I had the "working hard" with cornmeal pancakes & chicken apple sausages (recommended). I'll be back!

The restaurant has a modest exterior which gives no hint of the lovely back garden dining area. There are quirky hints out front of the creativity at work. The food was outstanding at breakfast, including wonderfully-prepared dishes (we enjoyed the chilaquiles, farm roasties, special omelette, and the...Read More

First time here and I'm pleased with the food and the service above else. The ingredients are fresh and well cooked and balanced. This is not a large-portion griddle-and-oil trucker haven as the name suggests. The space is charming and the wait is mainly on...Read More

I had the breakfast burrito, it was not spicy, which I prefer. Got what I ordered right away. Severs can get busy. It's outdoor seating only.

Loved the vibes right after opening. The patio was comfortable and cozy and the waitress was so nice. As for vegan food, they could stand to up their game as there were only 2 choices: a pile of veggies and a sandwich. I really appreciate that...Read More

Classic little breakfast place. One of my all time faves in the Bay. I’ve dreamed about the fried chicken sandwich. Super busy on weekends. Best to go on off hours if you don’t want to wait in a long line.

Cute outdoor seating with some of the best pancakes I’ve had in a LONG time. Food is delicious and nice size portions. They don’t take reservations so expect to wait for seating. It’s a busy place and it’s easy to understand why

The pancakes, specifically the cornmeal pancakes, are the best that I have had in the Bay Area. The service was attentive and welcoming. This has become a staple of my visits.
