Stepping into this restaurant felt like being instantly transported to a different world. The charming pink, grey, and blue color scheme was a stark contrast to the building’s darker exterior. As my friend and I sat down, the air was filled with the mouthwatering aroma of curry and spices. The staff member who took our order was incredibly sweet, attentive, and patient as we made our choices. For appetizers, we went with the samosas and pani puri, while for our main dishes, we selected the mixed grill and mango chicken curry. Since the curry was served à la carte, we also ordered a side of rice and naan. The order in which the food arrived was a bit unusual: first came the samosas, which made sense, then the mixed grill, followed by the pani puri, the mango chicken, and finally the rice and naan. We originally ordered two servings of rice and naan, but when we saw how large the portion of rice was (enough to feed three people), the waitress kindly offered to take one back when she noticed our surprised expressions.Food Review:• Samosas: The freshly fried samosas were small but bursting with flavor. They were generously filled with perfectly seasoned potatoes and peas, accompanied by a delicious sweet sauce and a spicy herb sauce. 8.5/10• Pani Puri: The crispy exterior of the pani puri was perfectly balanced by the soft potatoes and spices inside. I loved the refreshing, herby cold soup (for lack of a better term) that we added to the pani puri. 9.8/10• Mixed Grill: The mixed grill included tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, shish kebab, lamb boti, and tandoori fish. We were both surprised by the generous portion size, with the plate full to the brim. Our favorite was the tandoori fish, which melted in our mouths, but all the meats were well-grilled and delicious. 8.8/10• Mango Chicken: The curry was a well-balanced blend of savory, sweet, and slightly spicy flavors. The large pieces of chicken were tender and tasty, though the mango flavor was not particularly prominent. 7.8/10
