For that reason, I had to visit the food truck, and I was given a tour of the under construction Roosevelt's and the Roosevelt name back story. Roosevelt's is family owned. Im assuming they're residing here in Moore, and I've run into some of the family at Boomerang.
Roosevelt's recently opened their doors, and Im assuming it was a soft opening. The menu was fairly small. Im looking forward to seeing the full menu. I've been twice. The first visit, I ordered the Brisket Nachos, and old fashioned and another mixed drink. The nachos were 14.99, and mixed drinks were $8-9 each. The bartender makes a hell of an old fashioned. Well done! On the 2nd visit, I ordered a brisket sandwich and fries. The brisket wasn't that tender, but the sandwich was a good size. Came with Cole slaw and sliced pickles. I'd order again. My son ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries. He absolutely loved it.
This area has seriously lacked a neighborhood bar. I'm really digging this place, the people that run it, and Im a regular, already. Try this place!
