My wife and I decided to drop in to Rodeo Goat for a quick bite because we were in the area (Floor and Decor, if you're curious). From the outside , the place is pretty unassuming - it could be a bar or a convenience store, really.
But like all hidden gems, the unimpressive exterior is part of the charm.
Inside, there's a cozy bar with plenty of seating. Behind the building there's an excellent outdoor patio area that's casual, relaxed, and inviting. It backs up to a creek which gives you the feeling of being far away from everything, in a good way.
The real draw is the outstanding quality of the hamburgers. They're next level. Truly.
I tried the Honey Bacon Blue burger, which was featured on their battle of the burgers. Honeyed bacon, kale, blue cheese. It was like a flavor explosion!
I can't recall which burger my wife ordered, but it was awesome too.
We ordered fries, which come separate, and they're huge, and they're great. They took a few minutes longer than the burgers, and by way of apology our waiter brought us some sweet potato fries too. My wife commented that she has never liked sweet potato fries before, but she really liked these.
Expect to spend about $15 on burgers, another $4 on fries, plus drinks if you want 'em. For the quality, it's a great value.
Service was great, too.
Overall, very happy. I think we'll be back soon!
