I have been here before but never posted a review - this one is from a visit on July 8th. We were here (as we have been) for a Geocaching event.
There were about 25 of us, probably more, and despite it being during their Saturday evening dinner rush, all of our orders were correct, our drinks refilled in a timely manner, the staff friendly & our food was delicious and conservitely priced.
I had the club sandwich with ham and bacon, fries, battered onion rings, fried okra and apple pie Ala mode.
I love club sandwiches, and even though they are quite simple, Rick's was served hot, perfectly toasted, no bad ham cuts, fries crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside, onion rings that were sweet in their battered shell and fried okra that reminded me of mama's home cooked okra from my childhood memories. The only hiccup in my meal was the pie. The crust was so light that it appeared uncooked - no crispy pie shell and the apples felt too firm. Even with my dessert being a let down, I was happy enough to want to make a return visit.....and soon as they have BBQ ribs on the menu!
Ps, they have menu prices that are better than fast food when you consider the amount of food that you get with each order.
Home cooking almost as good as your mom's.
