Our server Logan was so kind and fun, she gave us great recommendations for our entrees and took care of us so, so well. We will definitely be coming back with our other friend as soon as we can! (I have to try the shrimp garganelli next time)
We got the burrata and glazed carrots as appetizers (both are AMAZING, the basil pesto on the burrata is probably the best pesto I've had, and the goat cheese that the glazed carrots sit in is like heaven (cue The Cure)). I got an N/A Old Fashioned which was quite sweet but very, very good, and my friend got a Hayman's Tom Cat Sazerac which was also very good (according to them).
For dinner I got the grilled cheese and tomato soup at Logan's suggestion, and let me tell you: top five grilled cheese ever. The tomato soup that it comes with is on par with the Cheese Shop's tomato soup that you get with their hot sandwiches. 20/10, thick and spiced and amazing. My friend got the mushroom pizza with grilled chicken on top and that was also very good (I don't like mushrooms but the bite I tried was yummy).
For dessert, we got the zeppolis and holy cow, they were so good. Very similar to beignets in texture and taste, but without the honey drizzle on top - comes with nutella and raspberry preserves to dip them in, they're so light and airy.
