My wife and i dined here almost 2 years ago, on the advice of a friend....and i remember the food as being not very good...i thought the food might have improved, so (against my better judgement) i decided to give the restaurant another try.......i should've listened to my "inner-voice".If it's your first time going there, you would probably miss it, as the restaurant itself is all the way at the end of a walkway....at the end, you'll see the steps leading to your destination...where you're (hopefully) met by one of the wait staff. The restaurant features 2 guys playing music (one on a violin, and the other on a guitar), and by what i heard, they only play chinese tunes...and not very well (sorry guys, i call them like i see them...).As stated earlier, the food is quite "sugary"...besides that, it's devoid of flavor, even the stir-fried vegetables had no semblance of their original smells or flavors....the sauce itself was bland and pedantic. The seafood fried rice was indeed "fried", but the "seafood" itself consisted of cocktail-sized shrimp and likewise sized squid (not what i expected)....and it too was lacking any flavor one would associate with "fried rice"....the spring rolls were also bland. My wife had a dish called "yam", and was thoroughly unimpressed. But fret not, the juice i had was quite fresh and tasty...and the beer was...well...like beer! The wait staff were (for the most part) attentive, but it seemed like they were more interested in serving the chinese and local patrons....The prices were reasonable.Overall, i have no plans on returning to said establishment anytime soon.
