We live out of town and we come to Pittsburgh about every two weeks for business. We've tried almost every good restaurant there is in Pittsburgh and by far this is the best for value, quality of food and service. It's not a trendy gimmicky...Read More

Love the food before, today we ordered dinner take out. Steak Frites, Sage & butter Gnocchi were wonderful. But the Carbonnade Flamande was too salty, maybe cooked too long. The beef was no longer tender and so salty that it was bitter. Very disappointed.

We went to Point Brugge Cafe on a Thursday around noon and it was packed! Cannot emphasize how well served we were by the waitress at that time. She tried as much as possible for my wife to navigate the menu because of gluten intolerance...Read More
Dine inLunch$20–30Atmosphere: 5Carbonnade FlamandeSomewhat difficult to find parkingFree street parkingParking can be difficult since the restaurant sits in the middle of a neighborhood.I wouldn’t take my kids here because there’s no kids menu and I don’t think they would enjoy being here. It’s not wheelchair accessible since there’s a staircase for access and even outside sitting can be tricky given to narrowness.

Wow! came here for a random date night with my Fiancé and was so so pleasantly surprised. We had the “small” bowl of Mussels in the Classic White Wine sauce and it was far from what I consider small! It was so yummy and I...Read More

I've been coming here for years. The food is great! I love the mussels. The sauces have changed a bit over the years, but they are all good, and the fromage is my new favorite! Steak frites and salads are also good. Desserts are generally...Read More

You will not find a finer recipe for red curry mussels than this establishment. I was skeptical that I'd enjoy them but it's the best meal I've ever had in my life. I have searched for another place who can make this dish but there...Read More

Delightful lunch. More to this local gem than legendary mussels (fave sauce is curry, but try all) & pomme frites. I'm not vegetarian, but carrot soup ( w coconut cream) & grilled artichokes were superb. Crafty mixology too.

We went mid-day between menu change, so it wasn't probably the same as it would usually be, but the food was still spectacular. We wanted to try everything on the menu! We'll definitely be back.

We had a new server, Sam, who was great! This was my first time but my sister loves this place. I had a beef stew that was incredible! Sam was great, the food was great, and the cocktails were awesome. We will definitely be back!
