It’s really low key. The parking lot isn’t paved. There’s a drink fountain so you do your own refills. This time, we actually had a waitress. The other time we went, we had to order at the counter.
Starting off with the cocktails. I had an Indian Summer - herbal gin drink. Really good and pretty pink color. We started off with the Caesar salad and Tuscan Bean Dip. Needless to say, the bean dip was way better than the salad (which had way too thick of a dressing). The bean dip came with toasted homemade bread crisps that they also used on the Caesar salad. Wow - the dip is smooth and a punch of great flavor. Then, the pizzas came out - all the pizzas are 12” standard size. My kid’s pizza was generous and extremely good for a cheese pizza. Hubby ordered the Nduja sausage pizza - slightly spicy, very flavorful, so delicious. The pizzas are Neapolitan style so the more you go to the center, the softer the pizza. I would highly recommend both of the pizzas we tried. Then, my dish was an Italian beef sandwich. It looked too plain for my liking. I love both hot and cold sandwiches with loads of toppings. But after my first bite, I was hooked. Really flavorful and juicy shredded beef topped with pickled Italian vegetables. The bread was soft and not baked or heated - I think if they used a baguette, I would be in sandwich heaven. Dessert was a skillet cookie - good but nothing much to write about. The waitress forgot to put in our order so we were waiting way too long for it so I was in a sour mood when the cookie finally came out.
All in all, great food and the service was kind but slow. I would recommend if you’re in the area!
