Sam, Rick, and the new guy (sorry I forgot your name bro) are awesome guys that run the store. We’re fairly new to Trona but my wife and I have gotten to know Sam and Rick pretty well since we shop here quite often. It’s always good to see Rick, he has always greeted us with a smile and a how’s your day going. The new guy is pretty funny too and very helpful. Pioneer Point Market is one of 3 lifelines Trona has. The other 2 being TIS General Store and Kwik Serve both sell gasoline. If it weren’t for these businesses the residents of Trona would be forced to drive 30+ miles into town to Ridgecrest to buy any essentials. I speak for my wife and myself when I say I am happy to support these businesses as they are definitely needed here in Trona.

I've been going to this restaurant for well over 20 years no longer living area but anytime I return so he's a spot to stop and eat usually we go for breakfast this time it was a late dinner but the food was amazing

O give it 5 stars because of how long it's lasted. I went there as a child and I can't believe it's still open. Best childhood memories of riding my back back and forth all the time.

They have more grocery-type options, although pricey. Last stop before Stovepipe Wells if you are headed to Death Valley. Not sure about Stovepipes provision selection.
