On our way to the mountains and back, we purposely make time to visit Pine Valley Store to fill up on fuel and food. We are always greeted by very attentive and friendly clerks at the counter. You’ll notice how clean the Pizza/Deli Food Prep area is. It smells so appetizing in there that we look forward to ordering the fresh made-to-order Pizza and delicious Deli sandwiches and the famous home-made gigantic brownies. All the food is prepared fresh right in front of you. There is a TV turned on to the Disney/Travel/Food Channel to entertain kids and their parents as they wait for their pizza and sandwiches. As customers come in and out, it feels very comfy-cozy since the vast majority of customers greet each other as family or long-time friends. It’s so fun listening to the jovial, friendly and open conversations that welcome you to join in if you wish. For those in need of directions, there are maps for sale or someone there that can give you clear directions to your destination. Also available for purchase are Passes to the Cleveland National Forest as well as winter gear and other essentials. The store is a full service grocery store including liquor, beer, wine, lottery, canned goods, candy, maps, cleaning supplies, paper products and nick-nacks. The small town family friendly, welcoming atmosphere and efficient service is a great customer experience. You’ll be pleasantly impressed whenever you stop in at Pine Valley Store.
