BEWARE: They won’t write down your order—and they won’t correct it when they get it wrong.
I’m writing this as someone who’s been a loyal customer, dining in 2–3 times a week for months. This place used to be my favorite spot, hands down. I’ve recommended it to countless people and was always happy to support it.
But today’s experience was incredibly disappointing. I ordered the lean brisket and beef rib pho—a slight splurge for me, as I don’t usually get the rib—but when my food came out, it was just the plain brisket pho. I figured it was an honest mistake and politely let my server know.
Here’s where it went downhill: she came back and told me that because she misheard me, and because the food had already been brought out, they wouldn’t be able to give me the correct order. I was stunned. At what restaurant is a customer held accountable for a server’s mistake?
I wasn’t rude, I didn’t cause a scene—I just wanted the meal I actually ordered. The fact that they wouldn’t make it right, especially for someone who comes in multiple times a week and is recognized by the staff, is honestly wild. The management’s refusal to fix such a small, fixable error says everything.
I hate to say it, but I won’t be recommending it anymore. Really unfortunate to be treated like that after months of loyalty. Food is always amazing but what a complete joke.
