Food is decent for the price. Good service - friendly and attentive. The fried rice was just rice - no veggies :( Interior needs new paint. Otherwise clean. Not noisy - there were TVs turned on but no sound which was great for being able to have conversation. Service Dine...Read More

Fabulous first visit to Peter Chang cafe! Was craving high quality upscale cuisine like chicken broccoli and it was so so good!! Jasmine Tea was a bit weak but very fragrant! Vegetables were perfectly cooked and meat extremely tender! Charged extra for carrots and rice...Read More

At first I didn't even know this place existed but because of Peter Chang's name I decided to try it. We ordered the scallion balloon breads, crazy beef with ghost chili, mapo tofu, and beef tendon & tripe with szechuan sauce. They were all very...Read More

Dry hotpot was great. Others were very plain. A little disappointed. Normally there should be good Chinese/Asian restaurants around university campus in today's US. Probably here in Charlottesville, VA, there seemed not many Asian students.

Excellent and affordable food. A great recommendation by an acquaintance who frequently visit their child studying at UVA. Portions were sufficient that we could make a light dinner with the doggie bags. Parking was plentiful. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Much better than the standard chinese restaurant, especially if you go outside your comfort zone and order something besides sweet and sour chicken. I recommend the dry fried eggplant, the bamboo fish, and the cumin lamb.

So much better than the typical Chinese “strip mall”restaurants. And above average menu selections. They will cook to order regarding your “heat” level. 🌶️ Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Scallion Bubble Pancake 2, Chicken with Onion & Chili in Hot Pot, Cilantro Recommendation for...Read More
