My wife and I both dined here last night. We had been there previously and had really enjoyed the food and had pretty good service. However, the service we had last night was just not great. Our server came to the table (we sat in a booth), and he pulled up a chair, like he was joining us for dinner. At the time, we didn't think anything of it. We ordered drinks, which were good and served quickly, and then ordered food. We got our food (which was great, by the way), and started to eat. The next time our server checked on us, about five minutes after he had dropped off our food, he was dressed in an under shirt (all the servers here wear a white button up shirt and tie) and then proceeded to another booth, pulled up a chair, and sat down and started chatting with those customers. At this point, we didn't know if he had clocked out, or if he was still serving us. It was a really strange experience. We probably sat for an additional ten minutes with no one checking on us, no one refilling water, etc. Eventually, I got up and went to the hostess stand to see if we still had a server. And our server was still him. He offered us boxes (the portions are large, so we definitely needed a couple) as well as coffee, dessert, etc. At this point, both my wife and myself just really wanted to leave. As a restaurant that has "fine dining" in the title, it was anything but. Our bill was close to $100. I can recommend the food (DoorDash or pick up are great options), but the dine-in experience was horrible.
