I came in at 8:32 am and the Cafe was, surprisingly to me, already busy. Unfortunately for the integrity of this review, I think I was recognized as the most prolific reviewer in the area, because I was immediately seated, immediately served, and my food came out(I kid you not) only 2 minutes after I ordered. The food was steaming hot, so I know that it was freshly made, despite the quickness. Chicken fried steak was hearty and filling, gravy was delicious, eggs were perfectly runny, and the Boss Latte was sweet, but not too sweet. However, the hash browns were slightly bland, but most people like that, and that's what salt and pepper is for.
The cafe was filled with people the entire time, and yet it didn't feel cramped. There were two gay guys next to me that I think were on a first date, and I could've sworn that one of them pulled out his phone, said "I'm going to ask my ex for money," and then they both went silent for 3 straight minutes. So that was crazy. Dawn was quick on water refills and knew exactly when to ask if I needed anything, and exactly when to leave me alone.
Overall, I give them a 97/100. Will be back, and will bring family.
