Read MoreI have been going to this Perkins for 9 years now, and for the last year I have eaten breakfast almost every Sunday after early morning golf. I sit at the counter as I do not have to wait for a table, and normally I experience excellent food and service. On labor day this year, I walked in at 11:30, nobody was at the counter, but there were people waiting for a table. I was told it would be15-20 minutes before I could be seated....at the counter. At the EMPTY counter! So with my history at this location, I gave them a pass and went somewhere else for breakfast. Then just yesterday I went back for breakfast after golf and had the exact same thing happen. WHY DO YOU HAVE COUNTER SEATING IF INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMERS STILL HAVE TO WAIT? I AM BY MYSELF, I DO NOT NEED A TABLE. Now I have to have a back-up every Sunday? I don't get this. I am hopeful someone can explain this to me. It is a bummer because I was told this location will be closing next year, and up until this situation, I was a big fan.
