We stopped on our way driving to El Paso. The gentlemen in the front was very friendly and so was the young lady working the register until I had to call 10 minutes after leaving because they messed up my order. I have 5 people in my vehicle and my taco order was counting how many for each person. I ordered 13 bean and cheese tacos. When I placed my order I was told my total was $40.31 for my 13 bean and cheese tacos. I had to walk out to get and extra $20 but I heard the cashier tell the cook she need 13 tacos. I returned and payed for my order. I seen her count the tacos in the bad and she handed me be bag. As we are on the road I’m handing out tacos and realize I was shorted 2 tacos. This is when I call back to let her know that she didn’t give me my entire order being that I have kids in the car that didn’t get their tacos. She proceeded to tell me that she only charged me for 11.When I asked why she only took my order for 11 and if that was $40, when I clearly said 13 and I heard her clearly as day tell the cook she needed an order of 13 tacos why did she short me?She says yes ma’am the bean tacos are $2.50 each, plus $.75 for cheese and then $.35 for each foil it comes out to $40. She then ask me if I want to come back and pay for two more. Unfortunately I didn’t want to spend more money at a place who choose to change my order and not tell me and then make me lose 30 minutes of my time to come back for two more tacos. Not everyone whom stops by is a local and she should have been clear if she messed up when she rang up my order. For that reason I am putting a 1 star review. She didn’t even apologize for her mistake. I understood that small town prices may be a bit more costly but not to this extent. These tacos could all have been put into one single foil on how skinny they were and the tortillas taste nasty like rubber. Don’t waste your time if you are passing by. My husband told me we should go to McDonald’s and for the first time I can say I should have listened to him.
