Olives Mediterranean Grill (OMG) was the perfect venue for a quiet dinner after the completion of the Dancing Classrooms North Texas, Colors of the Rainbow dance competition at UT Arlington.
This year I had to find a new venue because our previous venue is no longer in business. I was fortunate in finding OMG. I called the day before to confirm that they could accommodate a party of 15-20 at around 8:00 PM on a Wednesday.
When we arrived, a table setting for 20 people had been prepared. Because OMG allows for BYOB I brought several wines for our party to enjoy while getting settled and looking over our menus.
Due to the variety of items ordered I am not going to list them in the review. However, from appetizers to entrees, everyone commented on the quality of the various orders.
Even though a staff member had called in, Lisa and the other server took very good care of our group. Our meals were served in a timely manner, and every dish was steaming hot when served.
The layout of the dining area, combined with the rustic design of the interior made for a welcoming environment.
Considering the size of our party, the staff and chef did a wonderful job in preparing and serving our meals. Even though the restaurant officially closed at 9:00 PM we never felt rushed and were allowed to enjoy our meal, and each other's company over fine food, good wine, and good friendships.
