Read Morewe went for dinner tonight i had my son call to make sure they would be open it is new years eve , my partner had to work tell 6pm then drive home for me and our kids , (we live in davenport wa) he wanted to do something nice sense he got paid today and it been a few months , so i was like ok let get pasta we all love pasta and love this olive garden out of the one up north
when the waiter Eduardo T, came he got our orders i asked for a kids cup for my 10yr because he tips his cup to drink even with a straw and didnt want a mess, he brings a glass insted then argues with me about it , he is also calling us buddy , no sir or mrs, then rudy asked what we want not if we are ready to order. and when we get to my 10yr old he is like oh kids size i explaine no that my son loves pasta and eats a full plate . he takes my order of chicken and shrimp carbonara and the soup orders , we get the soup which sadly was very salty ok no big deal i dont use a lot of salt when i cook . we get our dinner both the boys got chicken alfredo my partner got chicken tort alfredo , came out great nice and creamy . mine you could see that the sauce had split before i even got it at first i was ok it is just a bit oily , i did order extra sauce but when have gone before and i always order extra sauce its not like this but when i started to mix the dish , i found the peppers were cut in huge almost whole slices , and grease as most the sauce . i can't have a lot of grease i dont have a gallbladder anymore one of the reasons i order this dish , i couldnt hardly eat it .
i love this place but this was the worse time i had ever had there the server didnt ever asked if we want desert , which when we talked about going i really wanted the tiramisu , have been craving it . but he didnt bother to even ask, just brought the boxes and the check , he is also the first server there that has never offered to help box the left overs . also the server came back over asking if we had issues paying for dinner , give we were all in jeans and t-shirts i was in a sweater. i was very offended by his comment. included is the picture of my plate only a few minutes after getting . check number for your info is 828789.
again we live in davenport wa , we just got a house out there this was our first big out to dinner . we had to still stop at walmart then drive home again this is also after 8pm and i had called to make sure you were even open. it is a hour drive from our house. i am very disappointed . i have worked in food service , i was working as a night Auditor for the Hilton garden inn airport spokane , for over 2 years . if i ever called a guests buddy or acted the way this server did , i would have been written up at any of my job's or severed a meal that the sauce is splitting and broken , i make all my sauces homemade , the carbonara is the only one i am not able to , it is my go to when we go there , again i was very disappointed .
i would really like to speak to a manager about this .
