My official review. Olive Garden on Irvington : So usually I’m very lenient and understanding to locations pending on it being a chain restaurant or being a mom and pops. I came to this Olive Garden recently and was just plain out disappointed. I’ve been to Olive Garden before in Florida just not on the west coast. Well let’s just say I should have gone somewhere else. So it was pay day and I wanted to treat myself to a nice outing because work was heavy. So I started off with coffee and the calamari, it took a while to get there and I mean a while. First things first I drank my coffee and noticed I wasn’t really supplied with any sugar and a tad bit of cream only and I managed to wave down my server and ask for more. What basically happened was that he definitely acknowledged me to do so but ended up never coming back. After waiting I’d say about 15 to 20 minutes I literally got annoyed. I had to ask another server passing by if she could help me in my request, luckily she was sweet enough to be up for the task. When I did finally receive my food I got both the soup and my meal at the same time, but the time I got the soup unfortunately it was already cold and unenjoyable. The food I got which was the seafood Alfredo was also cold, the only thing that was good was the portion. On top of that what really bothers me is that they have the mini kiosk to pay for your meal and order items I can see why it is convenient but also negates the need for the server themselves. On top of all this my server was very inattentive and when I paid for my meal I wanted a receipt and went to front to ask for it because it doesn’t print out and they said my server needed to give me it and by hearing that I immediately left and did not want to go there ever again. I do not recommend this location. Thanks for the read.
