Old Vine Kitchen is definitely a hidden gem in Costa Mesa. And really, it is kinda hidden since it's an area that I never seem to have passed, especially when I've been at The Camp so many times!
I came here for breakfast. The breakfast menu is separated in 3 categories - sweet, savory, and comfort. It's pretty self explanatory. I ordered an apple french toast, vegetarian omelette, and the southern brunch. They're generous portions. So if you were to come here with friends, order one of each and share it among you guys. It would be nice to have a little bit of everything. My favorite, surprisingly, was the vegetarian omelette, and I'm a meat eater. The apple french toast was also amazing!
The restaurant itself is pretty spacious. Has that rustic feel. "Old Vine" is very fitting. Staff is very friendly. I would definitely come back here again for breakfast!
