From start to finish, my experience at Old Gilman Grill was outstanding. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was beautifully presented, and the service was exceptional.
Our evening began with the Castaway and Cherry Pickin cocktails. Both were expertly crafted—refreshing and flavorful, setting the perfect tone for the meal. For appetizers, the Crab Fritters were a standout—crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside, served with a delicious sauce that tied it all together.
For entrees, the Trout Almondine was absolutely perfect—flaky, well-seasoned, and beautifully prepared. The Steak Bravas, while good, could have been better in terms of tenderness and flavor balance. That said, the addition of mushrooms and blackened seasoning elevated the dish nicely.
Our server, Sara N, was attentive and friendly, ensuring everything arrived promptly and just as we ordered. The restaurant’s attention to detail and welcoming ambiance made for an unforgettable dining experience.
If you’re in Chattanooga and looking for a top-notch meal with incredible service, Old Gilman Grill is a must-visit. Five stars all the way!
