Had a brilliant experience at Ofena on my recent trip to San Francisco. The service and food were impeccable. I’m still dreaming about the strawberry Italian sodas. We started with the Fried Mozzarella Carozza, Fungi Misti Arancini, Boquerones Toast, and Garnet & Gold Beets. For entrees my daughter got the kids pepperoni pizza and I got a modified version of the Saffron Risotto (subbed all shrimp in lieu of Shrimp and squid). For dessert we shared the cannoli. I have an almond allergy and the servers were extremely knowledgeable about the ingredients, down to the sourcing and potential cross contamination. I wish I could pin point a stand out dish, but I’d gladly recommend them all. If you’re in the area (and even if you’re not) a trip to Ofena should be on radar. Can’t wait to experience this restaurant again!
