First time here, hostesses at the front were friendly and we were seated right away. The woman with the sparkly Doc Martin boots was very welcoming. We entered and my friend stepped in gum or something. The table had a cloth napkin on the ground next to the table that was there until we left. When we told the server about the gum, she apologized, but didn't offer to get something to help.
The place was dark, so when we were given a receipt sized menu of beer, we had to use our phones to read that and the food and drink menus.
It was fun trying something new, I tried a Mescal drink called Deadly something. It was adorable. I tried the 1502 special with American style Wagyu beef. The beef had some large pieces, which was hard to navigate with the long black square chopsticks or fork and it wasn't as hot as I would have preferred. I expected the beef to taste better. We shared a veggie roll that was great, it was a bit hard finding a dish we should share because most of the appetizers have pork in them and my friend doesn't eat pork. It would be great if they could have rolls with another kind of meat for a variety. For two drinks, two pho, and the appetizer it was @$66 plus tip.
The unisex bathroom was disgusting. There was piss on the floor, etching in the mirror, dried toilet paper on the ceiling, and graffiti. Why not pay someone more often to clean? Where can a woman put her bag? Doesn't she have to balance that and her pants up over the urine soaked floor?
There is a happy hour 3-5 pm.
