Byway Burger delivered exactly what we were craving—a no-frills, roadside-style burger joint with character and flavor. The food was genuinely good, with that satisfying, old-school burger taste that’s hard to find these days. It wasn’t just another chain burger—it had a unique touch that made it stand out, from the perfectly cooked patties to the crispy, golden fries.
The atmosphere inside definitely leans vintage—some might even call it a little run-down—but honestly, that’s part of the charm. It felt like stepping into a piece of local history, and it matched the Route 66 road trip vibe we were going for perfectly. We didn’t want anything polished or fancy—just solid food in a place with personality—and that’s exactly what we got.
What really made our visit memorable, though, was the service. Elle, the hostess, was hands-down one of the best we’ve encountered anywhere. She was warm, attentive, and truly cared about our experience. It’s rare to find someone so naturally welcoming, and her energy elevated the entire meal. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back next time we pass through.
