I'm on vacation from the Midwest. I've been in the hospitality industry for decades. My experience was over the top fantastic. Luis, my server, was very generous with his time and gave me a restaurant tour. Beautiful building. Unmatched ambiance. Very high ceilings. I loved the meat hook lights hanging from the rafters. The bartender, hostesses, bussers sommelier, managers, every single employee on shift that night, was absolutely wonderful, kind, and on point. They made me feel very welcome, and although a table of one, I still was as good as any. The crab two ways was delicious. The beef carpaccio was just out of this world. I've never had it before. I've seen the menu online long before I came, and I knew exactly what I wanted. After the appetizers, I had the 7oz american wagyu filet and the lobster Mac and cheese. I live in beef country. I've also had japanese A5 wagyu. American wagyu at Nusrit restaurant was to die for. I ordered a few cocktails. Quite frankly, a cocktail at Nusrit miami is only $5 more than a cocktail downtown where I'm from. BEST PINA COLADA I've ever had. And I used to be a bartender for 15 years. I had to finish with a piece of Turkish Baklava adorned with goat milk ICE CREAM. Yes, GOAT milk. I've been eating Baklava all my life. As a matter of fact, I often get my Bakalva from a very fancy place from Amman/Jordan. Never have I had a Baklava that good. And never with ice cream, let alone goat milk ice cream. I didn't even know that goat milk ice cream was a thing. Enjoyed my dessert with the creamiest double shot of espresso. Just absolutely heavenly. All of it. I've seen the videos. The tiktoks. The hype. And now I've finally seen for myself. Miami is a late night city. Restaurant was bare when I got there at 715pm on a Monday night. By the time I left around 10pm, It was full and buzzing with energy. Yes, it's expensive. For sure, it's worth it. 18 months I've been planning my trip. 18 months ago, I knew I wanted to eat at Nusrit in Miami. And it was AMAZING. And holy crap, Miami has a ton of beautiful people here.
