Myself and some friends went to Nini’s for dinner tonight. It’s in a cute shopping center that has a beachy Key West vibe. On arrival, we were immediately seated and given menus. The ambiance and decor were nice and the vibe relaxed. The service was consistently good from beginning to end. We pretty much wanted everything on the menu so the waitress gave us some guidance. We ended up ordering mariquitas, empanadas, and tostones rellenos with pork for appetizers. For the main course, we ordered the special fried rice, bistec empanizada, churrasco steak on a skewer, enchilado de camarones, and a mojito. We all used to live in Miami and felt this place was legit…everything was flavorful and delicious. We loved our meals and vowed to return soon. Just an FYI, they add a 20% service fee for parties 5 and up. We didn’t mind as the service was impeccable. Give Nini’s a try if you’re ever in the neighborhood. It’s hard to believe Sebastian has authentic Cuban food!
