A Pleasant Surprise on the Georgetown Waterfront
We don’t usually head to the Georgetown waterfront for meals — our early experiences in DC matched the typical “tourist spot” formula: great view, but only so-so food. This weekend, though, our son picked the spot, so we went in with low expectations.
To our surprise, it was excellent. The restaurant has sweeping views of the waterfront, a diverse menu with fresh flavors, and the service from Dayana was outstanding. I tried the Jerk Bowl, which was full of flavor and much better than I expected from a place on the river.
A reminder not to judge every place by past experiences — sometimes the tourist spot really does deliver.
