They have a springy texture, thin skin, and a nice bite. The fried mandu were great with a flavorful chive and pork flavor. They are also nice in the mandu-guk, which can come with perfectly chewy and thin tteok (rice cakes). The soup base that comes with the previous dish and kalguksu, however, could be better. There is not enough umami or deep flavor. Although, the ground chicken topping option is tender and well seasoned. The complimentary kimchi is generous, but the flavor was not exactly to our liking. Overall, there is a lot of variety offered here, especially if you're looking for satisfying and comforting Korean food.
