Read MoreTonight I ordered through Uber Eats and at first I was concerned because I did not realize the restaurant was located further north on the beach. I thought the food might take too long to arrive or show up cold, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It was clear the restaurant prepared everything fresh to order and did not let the food sit around. My order arrived still hot, which immediately impressed me.
The meal itself was excellent from start to finish. The eggs were cooked perfectly with just the right texture. The bacon had the ideal crunch without being burned, and it added a lot of flavor. The bread held up well and was not soggy which is something that often happens with delivery but not this time. The tomatoes were cut evenly and were fresh and juicy. The lettuce was crisp and not wilted which showed me the ingredients were fresh and handled with care. The fries arrived hot, properly salted, and not soggy which is rare for delivery fries. I also appreciated that the restaurant included ketchup in the bag without me having to ask.
The macaroni salad or potato salad was average. It was not terrible but it did not stand out compared to the rest of the meal. Even so, it was a small part of the order and did not take away from the overall experience.
Overall I am highly satisfied. The food was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with attention to detail. The delivery experience was better than expected considering the distance. I am definitely going to order from this restaurant again and I recommend it to anyone looking for a meal that tastes homemade and arrives just the way it should.
